At our last gathering, the thread of limiting beliefs and the masks they make us wear…as women and as individuals…kept clearly coming through. And whether we have one or many… the longer we wear them…the harder they are to remove….and the more estranged we are from ourselves.
Either because we get so set in those ways of being that don’t serve us …because of other’s expectations…that become our own…because of limiting beliefs that makes ruts so deep…we don’t have the strength, guidance or ability to climb out of…alone.
Or…we are actually ready to tear them off…but we don’t know where it is safe to do so.
Where is it safe to come back to ourselves?
It’s safe here, sisters.
Please Hear What I'm Not Saying -- Charles C. Finn
Don't be fooled by me.
Don't be fooled by the face I wear
for I wear a mask, a thousand masks,
masks that I'm afraid to take off,
and none of them is me.
Beneath lies no complacence.
Beneath lies confusion, and fear, and aloneness.
But I hide this. I don't want anybody to know it.
I panic at the thought of my weakness exposed.
That's why I frantically create a mask to hide behind,
a nonchalant sophisticated facade,
to help me pretend,
to shield me from the glance that knows.
But such a glance is precisely my salvation, my only hope,
and I know it.
Gather with us as we support one another in shedding the surface, the exterior, the veneer…and allowing ourselves to be seen…to be welcomed back as the whole, well, healthy women we came here to be…to do the Soul work we are here to do.
We will be calling in the NATURE Element and MAGIC to help us.
How can MAGIC help us?
‘Estrangement permeates our society so strongly that to us it seems to be consciousness itself. Yet another form of consciousness is possible. Indeed, it has existed from earliest times, underlies other cultures, and has survived even in the West in hidden streams.
Magic is a word that makes people uncomfortable, so I use it deliberately, because the words we are comfortable with, the words that sound acceptable, rational, scientific, and intellectually sound, are comfortable precisely because they are the language of estrangement. Magic can be very prosaic—a leaflet, a lawsuit. Anything that changes consciousness at will. It can also be esoteric—inner work, interacting with the cosmos at large. At its heart, magic is moving energies.’ From: Dreaming the Dark: Technologies of Immanence
Gather with us as we call in MAGIC together to allow it to SHIFT the energies in our own and each other’s lives.
